Feng Shui, pronounced fung shway, is the art of making a peaceful environment in any area that you wish for good energy to flow. All rooms in your house can benefit from using feng shui techniques, particularly the bedroom. A feng shui bedroom can help promote good health and better sleep. When you use feng shui you are using the principles of yin and yang to create an efficient chi (positive energy) stream to have a feng shui bedroom.
If you decide that you want to have a feng shui bedroom, you should remember that the bedroom is meant mainly for self-renewal, rest, and relationships. Having a feng shui bedroom can do many things for a person’s mental and physical health. Also having a feng shui bedroom will help with romantic relationships. Here are some tips to make your bedroom a feng shui bedroom.1. Clean your room! You should start by cleaning. I do not mean just picking up the dirty clothes on the floor, dusting and vacuuming. I mean going through your things and getting rid of anything that doesn’t need to be there. Get rid of clothes that do not fit, anything that is broken, anything that may be crowding or cluttering your feng shui bedroom. Also, take out the television set, computer and/or exercise equipment, these things can disrupt the flow of energy.2. Put your bed in command position! Your bed is the most important part of your bedroom and is the main focus for a feng shui bedroom. The bed frame, sheets, position of the bed and the mattress are very important to make sure the chi flows just right. You bed should never be directly facing the door. You should keep all electronic away from your bed and if at all possible, out of the room itself, this will help the chi flow smoothly in your feng shui bedroom. 3. No mirrors in your feng shui bedroom! You need to remove mirrors from your feng shui bedroom. This is because mirrors reflect the energy and send it to places other than where it should be. If you decide to keep a mirror, television or computer (which can also reflect and block energy) you should keep it in a wooden cabinet while you sleep so it will prevent this from happening and help you have a more peaceful rest in a feng shui bedroom. 4. Use colors and elements! By using the colors and the elements of a feng shui chart in your feng shui bedroom you can maximize chi flow and feel more at peace. You can find and print a chart off the Internet. here is how you use it: Standing in your feng shui bedroom doorway, the south would be the wall that is directly opposite of you, this wall of a feng shui bedroom is Illumination and Reputation, it’s element is fire and its color is red.In the right (southwest) corner of the back wall of a feng shui bedroom is the love and relationships corner, its element is Earth and its color is pink. In the left (southeast) corner of the back wall in the feng shui bedroom is the abundance and prosperity corner, its element is wood and its color is purple. On the left (East) wall is foundation and family, its element is wood and its color is green. In the right wall (west) is creativity and children, its element is metal and its color is white. In the front left corner (northwest) of a feng shui bedroom is inner knowledge, its element is Earth and its color is blue. In the front right corner (northeast) of a feng shui bedroom is helpful people and travel, its element is metal and its color is gray. On the front wall (north) of a feng shui bedroom is career and life’s journey, its element is water and its color is black.Feng Shui Bedroom Tips
One of the more difficult things to understand when creating the ultimate Feng Shui bedroom is what is called the "command position". The "command position" is the best Feng Shui position for anything, be it in the bedroom or in any place we spend time in, be it in the kitchen, living room, or in the office. Since the bedroom is the most important and sacred place in our home, having a Feng Shui bedroom will enhance our experience in it. A Feng Shui bedroom is one that that encourages good chi, otherwise you will create unnecessary problems affecting your daily life.
There are several simple good guidelines for having a perfect Feng Shui Bedroom, and it is pretty straight forward to follow them. I created my Feng Shui bedroom following these guidelines, and it improved my wife and my life tremendously. The first rule to follow is the one concerning your most important piece of furniture in the room: your bed. In a perfect Feng Shui bedroom the bed will be positioned in line with the entrance, and will not have direct sunlight on it, meaning you should avoid having it placed against a wall under a window.
The Feng Shui bedroom is what it says it is – a bedroom, not an office, living room or family room. For that, the Feng Shui bedroom should not be a place for your computer or television. Remember that the bedroom is the place for your love life, and a Feng Shui bedroom is one that promotes that throughout – calm and soothing warm colors, neat and airy, and never have living plants (you need the oxygen in the night) or aquariums (create moisture and mould) in your Feng Shui bedroom.
Following the Feng Shui guidelines will ensure that you bring health and wealth into your home, and the place to start is to have a perfect Feng Shui bedroom.

Crystals have been used in Feng Shui for thousands of years in a variety of roles. For example, Aquamarine – The pretty light blue crystal is perfect for the Feng Shui bedroom as well as areas of the home where you might congregate with family or meditate. It is a calming crystal which also encourages inspiration, mediation with loved ones, peace and love. Aquamarine is a relaxing crystal.
Many Feng Shui house plans that follow the Feng Shui principles and are based on the ba-gua. When you decide on building a new Feng Shui home, it is advised to check out these plans and select the one that best meets your particular needs and taste, and consult with a Feng Shui master.
It goes without saying that the ba-gua chart uses Chinese characters in a particular Feng Shui font (or Feng Shui consultant font), which one must learn to better understand the charts. You can learn the symbols from a Feng Shui master or from a good Feng Shui book.

I have the same situation and put a long mirror on the inside of my closet door which seems to work since I can open it only when I need it.
I have an metal ornament instead of pictura above my head - above my bed. Is this is OK for my love live, or no?
Thank you!
